When filling out your order please include your phone number, in case we have questions, and please indicate quantities, titles, and the total amount. Please allow 2-4 weeks for delivery of your order. Massachusetts residents must add 5% sales tax. We are in the office Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10AM - 3PM to take orders and answer questions. At other times, please leave a message and we will return your call as soon as possible. For your safety, we do not accept MasterCard & Visa orders on the answering machine. PaymentAll invoices are due upon receipt, unless noted otherwise on the invoice. We accept checks, money orders, MasterCard, and Visa. If you should under-pay, and the difference is less than $15.00, we will ship your order with an invoice, or with an additional charge to your credit card. If the difference is more than $15.00, we will contact you before sending your order. If you over-pay, we will issue a refund. We prefer all foreign orders (including Canadian) be paid with Master Card or Visa. If not paying by credit card, we require that foreign orders be invoiced so that we can determine the correct shipping amount. All foreign checks and money orders must be drawn on a US bank. ShippingAll orders are billed for shipping and insurance. We reserve the right to decide how your order will be shipped. For an order to be sent UPS, we must have a full street address (including St., Ave., Road, and apt. no. if needed). If your order is going to a foreign country (including Canada), you will be billed for actual shipping charges plus our handling charge. You should also specify whether the order should be shipped by ground or air parcel post. Most places in Canada can receive packages UPS at ground rates. These rates are quite reasonable and quicker than the mail. Shipping ChargesIf you are paying by credit card or being invoiced we will bill you the actual shipping charges plus our handling charge of $2.75. If you prepay your order see the charges below for the correct amount. Overnight and 2nd day shipping is available. Shipping charges apply to each address that we ship to.
Returns & BackordersIf for any reason you are not satisfied with the titles you have chosen, please return them and we will refund your money or provide you with new titles. Enclose a letter with your return stating your reason for the return and let us know whether you want to receive a refund or new title(s). The only restriction on returns is that they be in saleable condition, unless you received them in damaged or defective condition. You should send all returns with the freight prepaid and insured. We will not accept COD packages. Call for our street address if you are sending returns by UPS. Bookstores & LibrariesWe extend the following discounts. Bookstores: STOP Orders- 30% ; 1-4 pieces - 30%, 5+ pieces - 40%. Libraries: 20%. All orders are net 30 days. Shipping is added to your invoice. Many of our titles are stocked by Bookpeople in Oakland, CA; Koen Books in Moorestown, NJ; Moving Books in Seattle, WA; New Leaf in Atlanta; GA; and Baker & Taylor, all locations. We encourage you to order from these distributors.
